Primitive Halloween Cross Stitch

Hello!  Oh, I know, its been a long time, but I just wanted to talk about Cross Stitch.  I LOVE embroidery!!  Handstitching gives me such a sense of peace and accomplishment like nothing else does!  I made some things for my Etsy shop, but, I'm really enjoying them up on my shelf in the dining room.  I wish I could take a new pic to show you, but... my camera cord has done a vanishing act!

So, here are the same old pics I'm using for Etsy!  Have I said how much I love Etsy!?  Doesn't have anything to do with my recent sales, either! LOL

See how nicely the Gorgeous Dark tea-stained linen came out?  Love the look!
A Black felt witch's hat is blanket stitched, applique with a tea-stained cheesecloth band is on the right . This is darker in person. The stitchery was made with black Perle Cotton as was a small tassel sewn on the upper left corner of the pillow. Pillow is Quality Plaid Homespun with dark green, black, tan and rust colours. Dimensions are 12 x 6 x 2 inches. This needful was a cross stitch pattern by The Primitive Hare.

And don't the little risers I bought from Carol of Firecracker Kid look marvelous!!  All her goodies are gorgeous!!

This PInKeep is a pattern from Primitive Bettys.
I stained this linen coffee stained. You can see the little heart shaped rusty lock I found at an antique store.  Its so sweet!  And I put some of my dear granny's rusty straight pins on there and some others I had, too.  The hanger is a grosgrain ribbon I had and I pinned it on using some small rusty safety pins.

Its Darker in person, more coffee stained. The fabric for the back is a Small Plaid Homespun in Autumnal colours of dark brown, dark green and rust; the pillow is stuffed with pillow stuffing.

This Pinkeep measures 9 by 3 1/2 inches and approximately 1 3/4 inches thick.

I hope to be posting more soon!  I've been very busy getting ready for a craft show!  Yeah, its fun!  LOL
